West Dragon Kung Fu is proud to announce that we have a new yellow sash in our kids class… Erick Quintero! Erick is a very hard worker and his kung fu shows it, so congratulations Erick!

Happy the Year of the Dragon Everyone! Last night we had our annual lunar new year’s dinner, promoted some well deserved students, and had an exciting demo for everyone at our school! Our students are amazing!
We also woke up our baby lion last night (Thanks for Stephanie who did an amazing job working our little lion!). Here’s a link to the lion awakening ceremony and more photos of our children’s demos to come (If you have any photos to share, please email us!).

2o12 is the Year of the Dragon, meaning that it will be an exciting year for us here at our school! It was 12 years ago (The past Dragon year) that we opened our closed doors at the school and began to admit new students. What a wonderful journey…please feel free to stop in and visit with us as we continue to grow our family in the New Year. Classes resume normal schedule starting Monday (Jan. 2nd)

In the Chinese martial arts, the students and teachers are like a family. As such, it is a pleasure to announce that one of our sons has just earned his Yellow sash. Congratulations Gage, great job!

Just as trees need roots to grow, so does a family need children to expand…it is with much pride that today we promote our first young adults to Yellow sash. Congratulations Toren and Jacob (Little Monkey and The Smiling Tiger), your talent does not go unnoticed.

We stayed busy on Tuesday at West Dragon, but as a result Lauren and Cody received their white sashes after completing their testing. Great job, and congratulations on achieving your first milestone on your kung fu journey!

As Master Bruce says “Congratulations to our team members Derek Brown and Rodney McGee for their great performance today at the Extreme Open Championships. West Dragon Kung Fu is proud of our team”
We placed in 4 divisions and won 3 Gold medals! Photos of our awards and videos to come

We started a referral program here. If you refer someone who signs up for at least a month of classes you get 30 towards a month of classes of your own. Bring two friends a month and you essentially train for free!
